Please indulge a quick note about my education.

I’m enrolled in a dual degree program at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. I’ll graduate in spring of 2017 with two degrees: a Naturopathic Doctorate (ND) and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). After passing licensure exams, I’ll be available to provide primary care medical services.

As a bonus, and with a little special effort on my part, I will sit for the massage boards four years before graduating, in 2013. I’ll then be a licensed massage therapist (LMT); I look forward to seeing clients then.

Additionally, in 2012 I am taking a year-long foundation course in herbal medicine from the School of Traditional Western Herbalism, where I will gain the skills to make my own medicine from gardened and ethically foraged herbs.

Please feel free to ask me about my education or the professions—naturopathic or classical Chinese medicine—that I have entered. They’re fantastically interesting.
